We want all Glade kids to experience the joy of God’s love.

At Glade, we are committed to listening to what children have to teach us about faith and life, and we try to provide opportunities where they can learn from adults as well. For all of this, we want everyone to feel safe at Glade. In order to create a safe space, at least two program leaders are present for each program, so your child will never be alone or unsupervised. All adult volunteers have been carefully vetted with the use of a background check.

Nursery

Children under the age of 5 are invited to play in the nursery throughout the worship service! Our fully stocked and staffed nursery room comes with plenty of play options to keep your little one engaged and supervised while you attend service. From blocks and playdough to story time, Glade will provide your child with a loving environment where they can form lasting friendships and have lots of fun.

Children’s Worship

Children ages 5-10 are invited to participate in Children’s Worship which begins each Sunday just after the Time of Sharing Faith with Children during the worship service in the sanctuary! If they would like to, children leave the sanctuary at that time to join with other kids for Bible-centered activities that introduce kids to Biblical stories and themes. There is plenty of fun to be had in Children’s Worship. Activities range from games and crafts to songs and dance to story-telling and science experiments. Learning about the love of God is always the ultimate goal!

RadKids

RadKids is a scripturally based, social justice oriented children’s program which occurs once a month before worship. We believe it is important to get kids actively involved with social justice, on an age appropriate level. We explore topics such as border relations and climate change in a scripturally centered environment.

RadKids starts at 9:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall! We will usually meet on the second Sunday of each month, unless otherwise noted.

RadKids is intended for ages Pre-K through Elementary, but younger kiddos may attend if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Yes! Breakfast will be provided! Although, we will need volunteers and donations to keep that service running. The breakfast volunteers may not necessarily be the instruction volunteers. Breakfast can be purchased or homemade and can be shared with Rad-Con. Put a dollar or two in the RadKids Breakfast Basket if you can!

We will need two volunteers for each quarter- one leader and one helper. Each pair of volunteers will continue work all three sessions of each quarter. Lesson plans will be provided. All volunteers must have a background check on file.
